(WHBL) – When the UW Green Bay Campuses, including Sheboygan County, reopen in July, operations won’t look anything like they did before the pandemic forced them to close in March. The University yesterday released its “Return to Campus” documents outlining new plans and procedures put in place to offer education and safety at the same time.
Effective July 1st, all employees and students will be able to be on-campus Mondays through Fridays between 7 AM and 6 PM, although all summer course sessions are still online-only. That access is for students, staff and faculty only, and the general public will have to wait until September to visit.
Any person inside any University building will be required to wear face coverings essentially everywhere, and must keep appropriate physical distancing, and you’ll be asked to leave if you don’t comply. For those entering the UW system, Admissions will offer tours beginning July 1st, but appointments will be required and, yes, so will masks.
Student employees may be called back to work immediately, but most will still work remotely when possible.
Fall classes begin September 2nd.
