SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) – Service that was reduced due to the pandemic is being gradually restored by Sheboygan’s public transit system – Shoreline Metro. Sheboygan Director of Transit and Parking Derek Muench announced yesterday that on Monday, June 15th, evening service will resume for fixed route and paratransit services. Capacity for the routes will remain limited to 15 customers.
On July 6th, fares that had been suspended will once again be charged for all riders, and Saturday fixed route service between 7:45 AM and 5:45 PM will be restored.
Muench said that restoring service in phases is needed to serve the community while maintaining safety for customers and employees in light of the coronavirus pandemic.
