MADRID (Reuters) – Mask use will remain mandatory in public in Spain even after the country’s state of emergency expires on June 21, Health Minister Salvador Illa told a news conference on Tuesday.
As part of a new decree to govern conditions after the coronavirus lockdown is lifted, Spaniards must continue to wear masks outside if they cannot guarantee a 1.5 metre distance from other people, Illa said after the weekly cabinet meeting.
