SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) – The total number of cases of COVID-19 in Sheboygan County has reached 106 with today’s report from the Sheboygan County Division of Health Services adding 5 new positive test results. 83 negative tests were reported in the last 24 hours, and nobody in the County is hospitalized with coronavirus. 80 persons have recovered.
The past week’s mass testing at the Sheboygan County Fairgrounds yielded 7 positive and 243 negative test results, and those had already been accounted for as results became available and were included in previous daily reports.
Sheboygan County has also launched a weekly report of facility-wide investigations, and today’s dashboard shows two active investigations underway, while 3 have been resolved. All were, or are being, conducted at long-term care facilities, while none involved group housing. No non-health care workplace investigations have been done, and one “Other Setting” investigation is currently underway. While any facility that is a congregate living facility, such as Long-Term Care, Assisted Living, community-based residential facilities and residential care apartment complexes will have their name listed in reports, none were contained in today’s release.
Statewide, another 492 cases were added since yesterday, raising the count to 19,892 confirmed cases. 11,656 more negative results were recorded. Another 10 persons have died, raising the state death toll to 626 persons deceased from COVID-19.
