SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) – The Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office took to its Facebook page to warn people driving on I-43 about nails being deposited on the roadway. Previously, the problem was most notable in Grafton where police reported an “unknown person” dumping large amounts of roofing nails in that village. The problem now seems to have spread here.
Responses to the Sheboygan Sheriff’s Facebook posts indicated more than a few occurrences in our county within the last few days. Most are in the southern part of the county, however, one person reported their tire punctured northbound near Cleveland. The Sheboygan County Sheriff advised caution and extra attention for those driving I-43.
