SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) – Safe drivers don’t usually get stopped by police, but bicycle operators in Sheboygan might get waved over by police for demonstrating responsible operation of their 2-wheeled vehicle.
The Sheboygan Police Department has teamed up with McDonald’s so that safe bikers can be given a free apple pie coupon in recognition of good habits. The effort continues many years of the program that rewards bicycle operators who wear their helmets, obey traffic signals and stay aware of their surroundings.
