SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) – Habitat for Humanity Lakeside’s Sheboygan ReStore will open its doors at 11 AM tomorrow following a 9-week closure forced by the COVID-19 pandemic. Executive Director Sarah Beckman said that both shopping and donation drop-off will look and feel different after the deep-cleaning of stock and store, and reconfiguration to ensure a clean, safe shopping experience.
New hours will be from 11 AM till 5 PM Wednesday through Friday, and on Saturdays from 9 till 2. Social distancing signage, a checkout sneeze guard and hourly cleaning of bathrooms and high-touch surfaces are part of the new norm there, and any merchandise donated will be disinfected and placed in quarantine for 3-5 days before being placed for sale.
