The Sheboygan County Department of Public Health announced today that they, in partnership with Sheboygan County Emergency Management and the Wisconsin National Guard, plan to hold mass community drive-through testing events at the Sheboygan County Fairgrounds from May 28th through the 30th. Details are still being finalized, but it is known that there is no fee and no appointment needed. Members of the Wisconsin National Guard will be able to conduct as many as 400 tests each day to those 5 and older, but minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. The test is to determine if you currently have COVID-19, and is NOT an antibody test to tell if you have had the virus in the past, or if you have immunity. The announcement did advise that the testing is being made available for anyone with symptoms that include fever over 100.4 degrees, cough and, or shortness of breath or difficulty breathing.
