SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) – A resolution extending Sheboygan County’s State of Emergency will come before the County Board when it meets Tuesday at 6 PM at the UW-GB Fine Arts Theater, but it may be a short discussion.
Most action on the agenda deals with committee appointments as the board restructures following spring elections. After that, Chairperson Vernon Koch is scheduled to introduce Resolution No. 1, extending the State of Emergency that was issued to deal with the coronavirus pandemic. The original order was issued March 17th to be in effect for 60 days. However it’s anticipated that a motion to withdraw that resolution will be made and, if a majority vote to withdraw it, the original order expires without extension.
