(WASHINGTON DC) (WKZO AM/FM) – Weeks after he announced he wanted to give voters a choice in the presidential race, Michigan congressman Justin Amash has stated he will not be a candidate in this year’s election,
Amash, who was running as a Libertarian, said that he did not feel that his campaign would be successful, therefore he would be withdrawing his the race.
Amash has been an outspoken critic of the President, and left the Republican party last year.
He would not rule out a future run, saying that the idea still has merit.
