(WHBL) – When Holy Family College in Manitowoc announced its closing at the end of August, many students found their final years of education in doubt. However, Lakeland University and Holy Family have now signed an articulation agreement that will will include a teach out agreement to cover students who were entering their final year at Holy Family,, as well as a transfer agreement for other Holy Family students.
Lakeland President David Black said, “We are heartbroken for them. We are determined to help in every possible way,” and will help students complete their degree path.
He concluded, “Although we, too, are affected by the COVID-19 crisis in terms of finances and employment, Lakeland will interview a Holy Family employee for any vacancies we have going into the fall.”
