SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) – Sheboygan Police Chief Chris Domagalski is staying in Sheboygan.
It was early February when the Police and Fire Commission began the process of finding a replacement after Domagalski announced plans to take an assistant chief job in Milwaukee.
Those plans fell apart during salary negotiations, and the Milwaukee Fire and Police commission never made an official offer.
Domagalski has been with the Sheboygan Police Department since January of 2010, and has been instrumental in attempting to build partnerships with Sheboygan residents to drive crime rates down.
