SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) – A special meeting of the Sheboygan Common Council will be held at 6 o’clock tonight to discuss the retirement of City Administrator Darrell Hofland. His intent to retire in July was announced last week in a letter to Mayor Mike Vandersteen, Common Council President Todd Wolf and Vice President Mary Lynne Donohue.
Tonight’s meeting will evaluate Hofland’s work as Administrator as it impacts the future of the city and may also discuss options for his replacement. However, the meeting will largely take place under closed session.
Hofland has run the day-to-day operations of Sheboygan as City Administrator for the past 4 years.
