SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) – Drivers on Sheboygan’s north side spent much of 2019 detouring around construction that rebuilt North Avenue. But the project wasn’t entirely finished when the busy street was reopened in the fall and, beginning Monday, construction will return and closures have been announced by DPW Project Manager Kevin Jump. The closures are needed to complete landscaping and tree planting.
Weather permitting, the first closure will affect westbound traffic from North 15th to North 21st Street from 7 AM till 4 PM daily next week Monday through Friday. Eastbound traffic on that stretch will be detoured the following week. In both cases traffic will be re-routed to Eisner Avenue
