ALLEN PARK, MI (WTVB) – ESPN draft analyst Mel Kiper Jr. has the Detroit Lions selecting Ohio State defensive back Jeff Okudah third overall in the fourth edition of his mock draft.
Kiper forecasts Detroit will take TCU defensive tackle Ross Blacklock in round two.
The Lions trimmed linebacker Steve Longa, tight end Paul Butler and wide receiver Jonathan Duhart prior to next week’s NFL draft.
Longa has been with the Lions since 2018, appearing in 28 games and leading the special teams in tackles in 2017, but missed the 2018 season with an ACL tear.
