As the only known weapon against COVID-19 that is effective for the public a large is to deny the virus the opportunity to spread, strict rules have been emplaced by Local, State and National governments. Those rules include a prohibition against gatherings of 10 or more persons. All gatherings that bring together or are likely to bring together less than 10 people in a single room or confined or enclosed space at the same time must:
■ Preserve social distancing of 6 feet between people.
■ Wash hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds as frequently as possible
■ Cover coughs or sneezes (into the sleeve or elbow, not hands)
■ Regularly clean high-touch surfaces
■ Not shake hands
■ Follow all other public health recommendations issued by the Wisconsin Department of Health Services and Centers for Disease Control.
In addition, wearing of a cloth mask is recommended for anyone going out into the public.
