SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) – The CARES act passed in Washington last week provides relief for those whose jobs or businesses have been affected by the Coronavirus Pandemic, and the Sheboygan County Economic Development Corporation is urging businesses to take advantage of CARES now.
SCEDC explains that the funds are limited and will be given on a first-come, first-served basis. All small businesses – those under 500 employees – and self-employed individuals should act now to apply for the Economic Injury Disaster Loan, the Paycheck Protection program and other relief programs designed to help people and businesses weather the crisis.
