SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) – If no news is good news, then the good news from the Sheboygan County Division of Public Health is that no new cases of the coronavirus have been reported in Sheboygan County since last week Thursday. A total of 6 incidents of the COVID-19 disease have been recorded and of those, 2 individuals have recovered and 4 cases are active and being closely monitored as the subjects remain in home isolation. Wisconsin’s 72 counties have reported 416 positive test results for COVID-19 and 5 of those victims have died as of Monday afternoon.
The County Division of Public Health is expecting to have more details on a “Safer At Home” order from Governor Evers with tomorrow’s scheduled daily update. The Governor’s official website did not have a release on that announcement at the time of this publication.
Officials emphasize that younger people, and particularly those who are 18 to 30 years old, aren’t immune to COVID-19, and so it remains important for everyone to practice “social distancing” by staying at least 6 feet from each other, to wash hands frequently and thoroughly, and to stay home if sick.
