SHEBOYGAN COUNTY, WI (WHBL) – The Sheboygan County Division of Public Health on Tuesday received notice of a 4th confirmed positive case of COVID-19 in Sheboygan County. This new confirmed case was a contact with a known positive case.
Starrlene Grossman, Health Officer for the Sheboygan County Division of Public Health said in their release that: “We are in daily contact with all 4 confirmed case individuals to monitor their symptoms and ensure they are receiving support to be able to isolate at home.” She went on to say: “We have also immediately begun the process of contact investigations with our newly confirmed positive case. Once identified, those contacts will be asked to quarantine themselves for 14 days from their exposure and will be monitored for fever and respiratory symptoms.”
Meanwhile, State officials now say that there is evidence of community spread in Milwaukee, Dane and Kenosha Counties, meaning that there are people testing positive who have had no exposure to a known case and haven’t traveled to a location where there is community transmission
