SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) – Even before proclamations of pandemic and states-of-emergency, Sheboygan area businesses had been acting to keep their clients safe in the face of the coronavirus. Clients of the Weill Center were informed in an email of steps being taken such as sanitizing seats and armrests, surfaces and door handles, and hand sanitizer stations have been placed in the theater. So far, no events there have been cancelled.
The Chairman and CEO of Pick ‘n Save, Rodney McMullen, said in an email statement that the stores are limiting the number of cold, flu and sanitary products per order so that shortages are avoided. That’s in addition to stepped-up cleaning and sanitizing operations of cashier stations, self-checkouts, credit card terminals, conveyor belts and shelves.
Many other local businesses have used social media to reassure their customers of attention to the situation.
