SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) – The UW Green Bay – Sheboygan County Campus will be quiet soon due to efforts to combat coronavirus. Beginning Monday, March 23rd through March 29th, all UW-Green Bay classes at all campuses will be taught via alternative delivery methods. Those methods weren’t defined, but students will get more details from their faculty in the coming days. Updates on the status will be given every subsequent Wednesday.
Those on spring break are being urged to go home and remain there until further notice, and instructional materials, computers, medications and valuables should be taken home.
Campuses will remain open and essential services will still be provided, but sometimes by phone. All University-sponsored spring break trips for students and faculty have been cancelled, and staff will be allowed to telecommute beginning Monday the 16th.
Campus events this Saturday and beyond have been cancelled for now with status to be reviewed each Wednesday, while athletics will continue under guidance from the NIT, Horizon League and the NCAA. A link to the complete statement by UW-Green Bay is available at the following link:
