SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) – Five persons already with the Sheboygan Police Department have applied to serve as Interim Chief of Police while the search continues for a permanent replacement. Current Chief Christopher Domagalski will step down early next month to take a position with the Milwaukee Police Department.
Last Friday the Board of Police and Fire Commissioners discussed the applications and resumes of the candidates for Interim Chief in closed session. No new announcements came out of that session, and the Commission will meet Thursday to further discuss those candidates.
Then on Friday interviews are expected to take place in closed session, with possible action related to a single applicant noted for the open session before adjournment.
