Adele Lucille Bamberger, 99, passed away on Saturday, December 7, 2019.
Adele was born on August 17, 1920, in Milwaukee, WI to John and Mina (Koop) Haltner. She was a 1938 graduate of Riverside High School.
On March 1, 1975, Adele married Julien Bamberger in Milwaukee. Adele was employed at Lurie-Patek Co. for 25 years as a Purchasing Agent..
She was a long-time member of Abiding Savior Lutheran Church in Brown Deer, where she was an active volunteer. She was also a member of the Gray Ladies, an organization which supported WWII. She enjoyed traveling, crocheting, feeding wildlife, flowers, reading, art and history.
Adele is survived by her step-son, Paul (Connie) Bamberger of Grafton, WI; niece, Phyllis Buyeske-Slinger; nephew-in-law, Richard Dresden; and five step-grandchildren.
Adele was preceded in death by her husband, Julien; parents, John and Mina; two step-fathers; one brother; two sisters; niece, Elizabeth Dresden; stepdaughter, Mary Hunter; and step-grandson, Peter Veldboom.
A funeral service to celebrate Adele's life will be held on Monday, December 9, 2019, at 2:00 pm at Wenig Funeral Homes – Oostburg. A burial will take place at Wisconsin Memorial Park.
Relatives and friends may greet the family at Wenig Funeral Homes – Oostburg on Monday, December 9, 2019 from 1:00 pm until the time of service at 2:00 pm.
A memorial fund is being established in her name for Pine Haven Christian Communities.
