Ronnie Merriman

Ronnie P. (Ron) Merriman, 72, of Random Lake, WI, passed
away unexpectedly on the evening of October 21, 2019. Ron is
survived by Luana, his wife of 50 years; daughters Nicole and
Melanie (deceased); Grandchildren: Leila, Seth and Brianna
and a Great-granddaughter Aida.
Ron served in the US Army (Republic of Viet Nam) with the
101 st Airborne Division; MI Air National Guard – 127 th Fighter
Wing and the WI Air National Guard – 115 th Fighter Wing
serving as First Sergeant. He retired from the WI National
Guard as MSgt with 21 years of service. In addition, he
proudly served the Random Lake American Legion Post #145
as Treasurer/Adjutant.
He retired from Eaton Corporation in 2001 as a Program
Manager. He received a BA from Lawrence Technical
University, Southfield, MI and a Master’s Degree in Science of
Engineering Management from MSOE in Milwaukee.
He was an avid Model Railroad enthusiast and belonged to the
Plymouth Model Railroad Club in Plymouth as well as the
Metro Model RR Club in Port Washington.
