Louis F. Weber, 80, of Sheboygan, passed away peacefully on Sunday,
March 17, 2019 at St. Nicholas Hospital.
Born October 28, 1938 in Sheboygan, Louis was a son of the late Louis
and Malinda Neese Weber. He attended Sheboygan area schools. On
January 12, 1957, he was united in marriage to Kathleen K. Kasten at
Immanuel Lutheran Church. They were married for 48 years before
Kathleen preceded him in death on August 25, 2005.
Louis worked for Gabes Construction for many years. He also worked at
Kohler Farms and Professional Supply Company before his retirement in
2012. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church. He enjoyed hobby
farming with his grandson T.J., fishing and spending time with family and
friends.
He is survived by his children, Debra (Timothy) Winscher, Sheboygan
Falls, Daniel (Rosanne) Weber, Sheboygan Falls, Dale (Terri) Weber,
Plymouth, and Michael (Carol) Weber, Sheboygan; ten grandchildren,
Timothy (Crystal) Winscher, Jr., Plymouth, Christopher (Holly) Winscher,
Bellevue, Shawn (Lisa) Sizonen, Sheboygan Falls, Joshua (Kasha) Fick,
Sheboygan, Adam Weber, Sheboygan, Angela (Larry) Irving, Sheboygan,
Jenny Weber, Sheboygan Falls, Nicholas (Gina) Weber, Bloomington, MN,
Tanya (Jason) Larcheid, Cuday, WI, and Abby Weber, Plymouth; 13 great
grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild; his brother, Dan (Karen) Weber,
Plymouth; his sister, Karen (Victor) Rusch, Sheboygan; sister-in-law,
Shirley (Richie) Wing, Franklin, WI; brother-in-law, Bill (Jean) Kasten,
Trenton, NC; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Besides his parents Louis and Malinda, and his loving wife Kathleen
“Teddy Bear”, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Sheryl Weber
“Sherry Bear” Fick, a granddaughter, Courtney Winscher, his grandson,
Shawn Fick, and his in-laws, William Kasten and Lillian (Harold)
Rommelfanger.
A memorial service will take place at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 21,
2019 at the Olson Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1132 Superior
Avenue. The Rev. Lorri Steward will officiate. Family and friends are
welcome at the funeral home on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of
service.
A memorial fund has been established in his name.
The family would like to thank Dr. Bettag and staff, Dr. Johnson and
staff, Dr. Hendricks and the St. Nicholas Hospital, ICU and Hospice for all
of their loving care and support.
A very special thank you to Mike and Carol Weber for opening up their
home to Gramps (Dad) and making a special “man cave” just for him.
