Margaret (Peg) Hamer age 94 of Sheboygan entered into Eternal Life on December 5, 2018 at Sheboygan
Senior Community where she had been residing.
Born September 3, 1924 to John and Madge O'Connor, she was the youngest of six children. After
graduation from Appleton High School in 1942, she was united in marriage to Connie Hamer who passed
away on Dec. 11, 1988. Peg loved to play cards, particularly Bridge and cribbage, and never missed a
family party. She was a Eucharistic Minister; a volunteer at St. Nicholas Hospital for 30 years; member
of The Shoreline Woman's Club and a long time volunteer for Meals on Wheels.
Peg is survived by her four children; Steve (Helen) Hamer of Kohler, Susan Hamer of Green Bay, Mary
Lynn (Steve) Seidl of DePere and Jack (Denise) Hamer of College Grove, Tennessee, 8 grandchildren;
Shannon (George) Bullard, Sean (Sarah) Hamer; Stephanie (Ben) Brown, Jessica (Cole) Beckman, John
and Connie Hamer, Michael and Kim Seidl, 9 great grandchildren; Bridget, Eddie, Charlotte, Patrick
Bullard, Dillon, Colin, Nolan Hamer, Jackson Brown and Ella Beckman.
A memorial Mass will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, Dec. 15, 2018 at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic
Church, 818 Huron Ave., Sheboygan. Fr. Matthew Widder will celebrate the Mass. Visitation will take
place from 1:00 P.M. until the time of Mass.
Special Thanks to Sheboygan Senior Community and St. Nicholas Hospice Team for their tender and
compassionate care of Peg.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in her name at Sheboygan Senior Community for
the continued development of beautiful gardens and landscape.
The Olson Funeral Home & Cremation Service has been entrusted with Peg’s arrangements.
