Noreen V. Courtright, age 82 of Sheboygan, passed away peacefully on
Thursday November 22, 2018 at the Shores of Sheboygan.
Born April 12, 1936 in Sheboygan to Marcel and Aurelia (Erbstoeser)
Schwarz, she attended local schools and graduated from Central High
School. She worked for the family business, Schwarz Fish Co. for 30 years
retiring in 1993. Noreen was a member of St. John's United Church of
Christ where she sang in the choir and was a member of the Ladies Aid.
Music was very important to Noreen, she was a member of the Concordia
Singing Society and the Cordaliers, she also enjoyed sewing & gardening.
Noreen is survived by her children, Gary Courtright, Sheboygan, Roger
(Suzanne) Courtright, Cushing, OK, Connie (Dale) Wittkopp, Plymouth; her
grandchildren, Christopher Courtright, Sheboygan, Kyle Courtright,
Cushing, OK, Carmen Courtright, Port Washington, Ryan Courtright,
Cuishing, Ok, Heather (Peter) Rathsack, Valders, Tyler Courtright,
Sheboygan; 6 great grandchildren; a brother, Neil (Carol) Schwarz,
Sheboyga, 2 nieces and a nephew.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her son Lee Courtright, 2
sisters, Gloria and Luella Schwarz and a special friend, Joyce Creech.
Funeral services for Noreen will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, December 2,
2018 at St. John's United Church of Christ, 1248 Lincoln Ave. Sheboygan.
The Rev. Greg Whelton will officiate. Visitation will take place at the church
from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service. Private inurnment will take place at
Wildwood Cemetery.
A memorial fund in Noreen's name has been established for St. John's
United Church of Christ.
Noreen's family would like to thank the nurses and staff of the Shores of
Sheboygan and AseraCare Hospice for their loving care and support.
The Olson Funeral Home & Cremation Service has been entrusted with
Noreen's arrangements.
