Bonnie L. Holz, age 69, of Kiel (formerly of Ada), passed away early Tuesday morning (October 30, 2018)
at Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center, where she had been a patient for the past two days.
She was born on April 13, 1949 in Sheboygan, WI, a daughter of the late Elmer and Norma (Boeldt)
Schmidt.
Bonnie attended Sheboygan Falls Grade School and attended Sheboygan Falls High School until her
sophomore year and graduated from Howards Grove High School in 1967.
She worked for the Kohler Company for several years.
On January 25, 1975 she married Bill Holz at Trinity Lutheran Church in Howards Grove. The couple
resided in Ada after their marriage.
Bonnie helped run her mother’s tavern, the “Ada Bar” for many years.
She worked at the Marsh Lodge for 10 years and also worked at Parkview Restaurant in Sheboygan Falls
for a couple years. She retired from Bitter Neumann Furniture and Appliance Store in Sheboygan in
2011.
Bonnie received a degree from Lakeshore Technical College in Computer Science.
Her husband preceded her in death on January 30, 2011.
Her reason for living was her 5 grandchildren. She attended all their activities. She also enjoyed reading
and traveling with her husband.
Survivors include: Daughter: Stacy (Dale) Limberg of Plymouth; Son: Jeff (Jennifer) Holz of Kiel; Five
grandchildren: Ali and Megan Limberg, Ryan, Blake and Ellie Holz; Sister: Sandy (Bruce) Long of
Sheboygan Falls; Brother: Joe (Tamara) Schmidt of Scottsdale, AZ; Brother-in-law: Howard (Cleo) Holz of
Milwaukee; and two sisters-in-law: Julie Schmidt of Howards Grove and Cindy Schmidt of Ada.
She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Preceded in death by parents; Husband: Bill; Three brothers: Wally, James, and Tom Schmidt; and also
many brothers and sisters-in-law.
Funeral services will be held on Friday evening (Nov. 2, 2018) at 7:00 P.M. at Suchon Funeral Home in
Plymouth. Fred Meyer will officiate.
Visitation will be held on Friday (Nov. 2) at Suchon Funeral Home from 3:00 P.M. until time of Services.
Cremation will take place following the services.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Bonnie’s name.
