Frederick P. “Bud” Stessman age 85 of Sheboygan passed away
Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at his home.
Born December 27, 1932 in Panama, IA to Frederick W. and Caroline
(Willmes) Stessman, he attended local schools before joining the U.S.
Army in 1953. He worked many jobs over the years including at the oil
refinery, as a long distance truck driver, an auto mechanic, and 27 years at
Kohler Company, retiring in 1995. Bud was a very good handyman and do-
it-yourselfer, always lending his skills when needed. He loved the outdoors
and photographing nature, was a talented woodworker, and won numerous
awards in trap, skeet and sporting clays.
Bud is survived by his children; Timothy (Diane) Stessman, Tama (Scott)
Gluck & Teresa Kobelt; his four grandchildren; Eric Kobelt, Julia Kobelt,
Olivia Gluck & Owen Gluck, his siblings, David (Janice) Stessman,
Charlene (Allen) Twark, Jeanette (Richard) Bolamperti, Colleen (Larry)
Graeve, Carolyn (Hank) Nykaza, Joan (Claudio) Gonzales, Dennis (Cathy)
Stessman, Duane (JoAnn) Stessman, and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister Rose Mangiameli.
A memorial service for Bud will be held at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, November
1, 2018 at the Olson Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1132 Superior
Ave., Sheboygan. Family and friends will be received at the funeral home
from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service.
A memorial fund has been established in Bud's name.
