Mary Lou Schlichting, 68, of Sheboygan, passed away on Monday, October 8, 2018, at her
home.
Mary was born on March 10, 1950, in Sheboygan to William and Margaret (Wunsch)
Schlichting. She attended Sheboygan Falls High School. Mary worked as a laborer at JL French
and RCS.
Mary was a member of St. Luke Lutheran Church in Sheboygan Falls. Mary enjoyed traveling,
and spending time with friends. She was a caring and compassionate person and loved helping
others.
Mary is survived by her two brothers, Gary Schlichting, and Larry Schlichting; two nieces, Sue
(Brian) Karstaedt, and Kim (Dave) Fraser; two nephews, Scott Schlichting, and Daniel
Schlichting. She is further survived by great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives and friends.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents.
A funeral service to celebrate Mary's life will be held on Saturday, October 13, 2018, at the
Wenig Funeral Home in Sheboygan Falls at 11:30am, with Rev. Elizabeth Jaeger officiating. A
burial will take place at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
Relatives and friends may greet the family at the Wenig Funeral Home in Sheboygan Falls on
Saturday, October 13, 2018 from 10am until the time of service at 11:30am.
A memorial fund is being established in her name.
