Anyone who has spent any amount of time outdoors over the past few weeks is aware of the mosquito problem here in Wisconsin created by all the rain we received in late August.
Understandably, people who want to spend a pleasant evening outside are a little more than annoyed over the mosquitoes chasing them indoors.
Well in Fond du lac county last week, the police were actually aided by the mosquitoes after a man led officers on a high speed chase.
Eventually he abandoned his vehicle and fled into a corn field. He didn't stay in there long, as he was swarmed by mosquitoes. They forced him to run back out onto the road, where he was arrested.
The guy is facing numerous charges and is no doubt dealing with mosquito bites.
