Jeanna M. Radey, age 49, of Sheboygan, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday afternoon, September 18, 2018 as the result of a car accident.
Jeanna was born July 12, 1969 in Fort Riley, KS, the daughter of Jon and Judy (nee Baucum) Levanetz. In 1987, she graduated from Southwest High School in Green Bay. She went on to study education, graduating from UW Madison with her Bachelor’s degree and Cardinal Stritch with her Masters Degree. For many years, she worked as a teacher in the Sheboygan Area School District.
On July 22, 1995, she was united in marriage with John Radey at St. Norbert’s Chapel in De Pere.
In high school, Jeanna enjoyed cheerleading and playing guitar. She loved her family and cherished time spent with her grandson Jaxon. She enjoyed gardening, reading and spending time on Ebay. A kind-hearted person who loved people, Jeanna enjoyed helping and supporting her family, friends and neighbors, as well as supporting her loved one’s hobbies.
Jeanna is survived by her husband John, their children: Jordyn and Jena Radey, and her grandson Jaxon Radey, all of Sheboygan. She is further survived by her parents, Jon and Judy Levanetz of Two Rivers, siblings: Jon Levanetz of Bonduel, Justin Levanetz of Greenville, and Joline Brotzman of Fond du Lac, siblings-in-law Phyllis (Keith) Harrison of Venice, FL, Lisa Byng of Green Bay and Dave (Hope) Zellner of Green Bay, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many dear friends.
A Memorial Service will be held at 5:00PM on Monday, September 24, 2018 at Ballhorn Chapels Funeral and Cremation Care Center, 1201 N. 8
th
St. in Sheboygan. Pastor Beth Petzke will officiate. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Monday from 3:00-5:00PM.
