Marion E. Haas, age 95, of Sheboygan, WI, passed away late
Monday evening (Sept. 17, 2018) at her home in Sheboygan, surrounded by her
loving family.
She was born on February 23, 1923 in Sheboygan, daughter of
the late Henry and Bertha (Duebner) Grosshuesch.
She graduated from Sheboygan Central High School. On November 7, 1946, she married Gerhard
“Jim” Haas in Sheboygan. He preceded her in death on July 30, 1983.
Marion was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church in
Sheboygan.
Marion worked at the Kohler Company, Executive Inn and was
also a babysitter for many, many children.
She took care of her niece, Sharon Grosshuesch for 55 years.
Marion loved all her children, grandchildren,
great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. She also loved watching Packer games,
Lawrence Welk, the Price is Right, Wheel of Fortune, the local news and weather,
and driving past the lake.
Survivors include: Seven children: Arlene Lillo of Bonduel,
WI, Judy Mueller of Sheboygan, Gary “Butchie” (Mary Jo) Haas of Sheboygan,
Larry Haas of Manitowoc, Vickie (Eugene) Schaap of Plymouth, Debbie (Wayne)
Usadel of Sheboygan, and Patty (Mike) Griesbach of Grafton; 18 Grandchildren;
29 Great-grandchildren; 13 Great-great grandchildren; Sister-in-law: Tootie
Gross of Sheboygan; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and
friends.
Marion was preceded in death by: Her parents; Step-son:
James Haas; 2 Sons-in-law: Sonny Lillo and Alex Mueller; Daughter-in-law: Nancy
Haas; and 7 Brothers and Sisters.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday (Sept. 20) at 12
Noon at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Sheboygan.
Rev. Kristin Berglund, Pastor of the Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Pilgrims Rest Cemetery.
Visitation will take place at CHURCH on Thursday (Sept. 20)
from 10:00 A.M. until the time of services at 12 Noon.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in
her name.
