Rosa “Rosie” Wunsch,
79, of Sheboygan Falls, passed away on Sunday, September 9, 2018, at the
Waterford in Plymouth surrounded by her family.
Rosie was born on July 21, 1939,
in Neillsville, WI to Michael and Anna (Bladl) Zahradka and grew up in Granton,
WI. She was a graduate of Columbus High School in Marshfield. Rosie married her
high school sweetheart, Jim Wunsch, on August 30, 1958 in Neillsville. Jim and
Rosie moved to Sheboygan Falls, where they raised their four daughters, The C’s. Over the years they have been able to spend
time and watch their grandchildren grow up. Rosie loved going up north with
family and friends to their cottage in Tomahawk, creating memories that will
last a lifetime.
Rosie is survived by her husband,
Jim Wunsch of Sheboygan Falls; four daughters, Carrie Wunsch, Carmen (John)
Roska, Connie (John) Buehler, all of Sheboygan Falls, and Chris (fiance Clint)
Wunsch of Elkhart Lake; four grandchildren, Kelly Roska of Leipzig, Germany,
John James Roska of Milwaukee, Jill (Tom) Nyenhuis of Gibbsville, and Daniel
(Lori) Buehler of Menomonee Falls; one great-grandchild, Elle Nyenhuis; three
sisters, Mary Ann (Don) Giasson of TX, Betty Eibergen of Granton, and Carolyn
Flanegan of MN; one brother, Bill/Mike (Vicki) Zahradka of NY; and five
brothers-in-law, Mike Feyen of Plymouth, Kenneth (Leah) Wunsch of Port
Washington, Paul (Kathy) Wunsch of Hartford, Charles (Dianne) Wunsch of Sussex,
and Larry (Sharon) Wunsch of Fond du Lac.
Rosie was preceded in death by
her parents; one sister, Barbara Feyen; two brothers-in-law, Dick Eibergen, and
Ed Flanegan; parents-in-law, Elmer and Louise Wunsch; and one sister-in-law,
Sally (Jack) Buffington.
A memorial service to celebrate
Rosie's life will be held on Saturday, September 15, 2018, at 11:30am at
Blessed Trinity Parish in Sheboygan Falls with Rev. Joe Dominic officiating. A
private family inurnment will take place at St. Mary Cemetery at a later date.
Relatives and friends may greet
the family at the church on Saturday, September 15, 2018, from 9am until the
time of service at 11:30am.
A memorial fund is being
established in her name for Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice.
The family wishes to extend a
heartfelt thank you to the staff at the Waterford in Plymouth and Sharon S.
Richardson Community Hospice for all their care and compassion they gave to
Rosie.
