Joan M. Justinger, 83, of Sheboygan Falls, passed away on
Friday, September 7, 2018, at Pine Haven Covenant Home in Sheboygan Falls.
Joan was born on July 30, 1935, in the Town of New Holstein,
daughter of Raymond and Mabel (Bunge) Popp.
She attended Madison School in the Town of Sheboygan Falls. On May 9, 1970, she married Gerald H.
Justinger in Sheboygan Falls. Gerald
passed away on January 15, 2018. Joan
was employed with the Jung Shoe Company and Richardson Industries until her retirement
in 1980.
Joan enjoyed gardening, flowers, and housekeeping.
Joan is survived by her sister, Betty Bessette of Sheboygan;
one sister-in-law, Carol (James) Wagner of Kiel; two brothers-in-law, Lyle
(Luella) Justinger of Sheboygan Falls and Kenneth (Bernice) Justinger of
Plymouth; and her nieces and nephews.
Joan was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years,
Gerald, her parents, one brother, Kenneth (Marjorie) Popp, one sister, Delores
(Harris) Klemme, and two brothers-in-law, Gordon Hausler and Joe Bessette.
Per Joan’s request there will be no services held.
A memorial fund has been established in Joan’s name for
Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the
staff of Pine Haven Christian Home and the Sharon S. Richardson Community
Hospice for their compassionate care.
