Holle E. Ramaker, 71, of Oostburg, passed away on Friday,
September 7, 2018, at the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice in Sheboygan
Falls after a brief and courageous battle with cancer.
Holle was born on December 9, 1946, in Sheboygan, son of
Ellsworth and Bernice (Holle) Ramaker.
He was a graduate of Cedar Grove High School. Holle served in the US Army from
1967-1969. He was employed at the
Vollrath Company.
Holle attended First Reformed Church in Oostburg, he was a
man strong in his faith. He enjoyed socializing
and helping anyone who asked, riding his motorcycle, spending time with his
family and watching his grandchildren’s activities.
Holle is survived by his daughter, Robyn (Mike) DePagter of
Oostburg, his son, Ryan (Jami) Ramaker of Cumming, GA; and six grandchildren,
Janyce Ramaker, Holli DePagter, Izabella Ramaker, Donavan DePagter, Charles
DePagter and Kellee DePagter.
Holle was preceded in death by his parents.
A memorial service to celebrate Holle’s life will be held at
5pm on Thursday, September 13, 2018 at the Wenig Funeral Home in Oostburg with
Rev. Brian Taylor officiating. Inurnment
will take place at Presbyterian Cemetery in the Town of Holland.
Relatives and friends may gather at the funeral home on Thursday,
September 13, 2018 from 2pm until the time of service at 5pm.
A memorial fund has been established in Holle’s name for the
First Reformed Church of Oostburg and Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice.
