Arthur H. Hackendahl, age 82, of Sheboygan, passed away
Friday (September 7, 2018) at Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Hospital surrounded by
his loving family.
He was born on January 4, 1936 in Milwaukee, WI, a son of
the late Arthur and Margaret (Halstrom) Hackendahl.
Arthur graduated from Riverside High School in Milwaukee.
He attended UW Madison where he earned his BS Degree in Pharmacy and later
returned to earn his MBA.
He served in the United States Army from 1958-1962.
Arthur had a distinguished career in the pharmaceutical
industry, working in multiple international assignments culminating in senior
level executive positions.
He was an avid sports fan and a lover of animals. He enjoyed
playing tennis, snow skiing and target shooting.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years: Linda of Sheboygan; and
three children: Craig (Jodi) of Libertyville, IL, Karen (Gaeton) Curione of
Bensalem, PA, and Brad (Denise) of Chalfont, PA.
He is also remembered by his grandchildren: Jenna, Mark and
Kelly Hackendahl, Gabrielle, Chandler and Chelsea Curione, Colleen, John and
Thomas Hackendahl.
Following Arthur’s wishes, cremation has taken place and
private family services will take place at a later date.
A memorial fund is being established in Arthur’s name for
the Sheboygan County Humane Society and the Sheboygan Cancer Care Fund.
