Kathryn Ann Reif, 80, of Sheboygan, passed away Monday,
September 3, 2018, at Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center. Kathryn was born April 3, 1938, in Sheboygan,
to the late Harold and Olga Harder.
After her father passed, she was later raised by her mother and
stepfather, Ed Wilke. Kathryn graduated
from Sheboygan Central High School and was employed by Grant School as an
educational assistant in the library for 37 years. When she was younger, she was a gymnast with
Turner’s Gymnastics. Kathryn enjoyed
puzzles, crossword puzzles and knitting.
She also took great pride in being a grandmother and enjoyed time spent
with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her three children, Lori Verhagen, New
Jersey, Steve (Lauri) Reif, Sheboygan and Robin (Ann Marie) Reif, New Holstein;
three grandchildren, Nick (Amy) Verhagen, Andrea (Jeremy) Crego and Jaden Reif;
five great-grandchildren; one sister, Jackie (Gilbert) Keyes, Sheboygan.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one
sister, Ardith (Paul) Fleischmann and one granddaughter, Serena Reif.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 8,
2018, at 11:00 a.m. at Ballhorn Chapels Funeral and Cremation Care Center (1201
N. 8
th
Street, Sheboygan) with Rev. DuWayne Hanke officiating. Friends may call on Saturday, at the funeral
home, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial
