Walter W. Norton, Sr., 69, of Sheboygan, passed away early Wednesday morning, August 22, 2018 at Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center following a lengthy illness.
Born May 3, 1949 in Shell Lake, WI, Wally was a son of the late Walter and Marjo Radical Norton. He attended Sheboygan North High School.
Wally worked at Kenro for many years, retiring in 2011. He was actively involved with the Sheboygan Softball Association and the Thielmann's Athletic Club. He also enjoyed bowling and golf for many years.
He is survived by his special friend, Renee Kamps, Sheboygan; his children, Walter Norton, Jr., Sheboygan, and Michelle (David) Dutton, Fond du Lac; five grandchildren, Cory Dutton, Fond du Lac, Steven, Joshua, Nathaniel and Ashley Norton, all of Sheboygan; two great granddaughters, Addison and Isabella Norton, Sheboygan; his brother, Daniel Norton, TX; and two sisters, Mavis (David) White, Crivitz, and Lois Mertz, Sheboygan; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his two brothers, Arthur and Roger Norton.
A celebration of Wally's life will take place from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at Superior Avenue Bar & Grill,
