Ruth Ann Sagunsky, 88, of
Sheboygan Falls, passed away on Wednesday, August 8, 2018, at Pine Haven
Christian Home with her husband at her side.
Ruth was born in Sheboygan Falls,
daughter of Sophie and Gus Will. She was a 1948 graduate of Sheboygan Falls High
School. On November 29, 1952, she married Eugene Sagunsky. Ruth was employed with Sears for 17 years
until her retirement in 1989.
Ruth was a lifelong member of
Blessed Trinity Parish in Sheboygan Falls, where she volunteered as a ‘Holy
Duster’ and helped-out wherever she was needed.
She enjoyed her annual vacation week in Northern WI, the Falls Fun Club,
was a competitive bridge player, flowers, and traveling.
She is survived by her husband of
65 years, Eugene Sagunsky and four children and their spouses, Karen (Mark)
Hallam of Granite Bay, CA, Gary (Leslie) Sagunsky of Carlsbad, CA, Kathy (Jim)
Schleh of Taylor, WI, Daniel (Pam Rutherford) Sagunsky of Sheboygan Falls; 15
grandchildren and 9 great great-grandchildren. Ruth is further survived by nieces,
Lisa Mercado and Laurie Garcia.
She was proceeded in death by her
two sisters, Doris (Ed) Setzke and Sr. Rita Marie Will, and her grandson Nathan
Schleh.
A Mass of Christian Burial to
celebrate Ruth's life will be held at 12:00 pm on Wednesday, August 15, 2018,
at Blessed Trinity Parish in Sheboygan Falls with Rev. Joe Dominic officiating.
Burial will take place at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery in Sheboygan Falls.
Relatives and friends may gather
at the church on Wednesday from 10:00 am until the time of the service at 12:00
pm.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial
fund has been established in Ruth’s name for the Sheboygan Falls Food Pantry.
