Marguerite Rice, age 86, of Elkhart Lake, WI, passed away
Monday evening (July 30, 2018) at Aurora Sheboygan Medical Center.
She was born on April 1, 1932 in Milwaukee, WI, a
daughter of the late Sheldon and Marion (Hudson) Rice.
Marguerite attended St. Monica Grade School and graduated
from Whitefish Bay High School in 1950.
She worked at various law firms in Milwaukee and at the
Arthur Anderson Company in Los Angles.
She is a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in
Elkhart Lake.
Marguerite enjoyed bowling and playing bridge and
Mahjong.
She will always be remembered for her love of her Irish
Heritage and her great laugh.
Survivors include: Two brothers; Sheldon (Sally) Rice of
Stevens Point, Robert Rice of Grafton; One sister: Marilyn “Kate” Pruit of
Milwaukee. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and
friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and One brother;
Richard Rice.
Following Marguerite’s wishes, cremation has taken place
and a Memorial Prayer Service will take place on Monday morning (August 6,
2018) at 11:00 A.M. at the Chapel at the Holy Cross Cemetery in Milwaukee.
Inurnment will follow. Friends are asked to meet at the Chapel at the time of
services.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established
in Marguerite’s name for St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Elkhart Lake or
for a charity of your choice.
