Taylor Schwarz pitched eight solid innings to lead the Sheboygan A's to a victory over the Menasha Macs in a Northeastern Wisconsin Baseball League game Friday.
The final score was 5-1.
The Macs had nine hits, all singles, and Schwarz struck out seven batters. Griffin Jack had three hits for the Macs.
Mark Wanner led the A's offensively, going 2-4 with an RBI.
The Macs scored their only run in the fourth inning on an RBI single by Pierce Blohowiak, which scored Mike Berben.
The A's (16-8 overall, 7-6 WSL, 5-2 NEWBL) will play on the road Saturday at 3 PM in an Wisconsin State League doubleheader against the West Allis Nationals.
