Leona M. Redig, 59, of Sheboygan, passed away on Wednesday,
June 6, 2018 at St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee. She was born October 12, 1958 in Sheboygan to
Henry and Jean Evelyn Leona (Rahe) Hersant.
On July 4, 2002 she was united in marriage to Dennis Redig.
Leona loved her family, they were her pride and joy. She enjoyed camping, fishing, family
cookouts, and playing Bejeweled, Candy Crush and Words with Friends. Most of all she loved hanging out with her
sons, listening to music and having great conversations and spoiling James.
Leona is survived by her husband Dennis Redig, sons; Charles
Houseye, Benjamin Houseye, Michael (Kim) Houseye, Brian Houseye, and James
Redig, by Willard Andres Houseye the father of her children step-children;
David Redig- Maske, Shawn Redig, and Amber (Timothy) Houts, grandchildren;
Jazmyne, Anthony, Hope, Carman, and Adam Houseye, Ava Houseye, Mya and Calla
Houseye, Eric, Nikolas, Hunter, and Aubrey Houseye, siblings; Rita Anne (James)
Killingbeck, Gloria (Jeffrey) McCord, Cindy (Jesse) Bogenschuetz, Joseph
Hersant, Elizabeth (James) Warren, and Julie Hersant, she is further survived
by many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, and
two sisters Sue and Donna.
Private services will be held at a later date.
