Nancy Katherine VanDeLoo, age 71, of Plymouth, passed away
at home on Monday morning, May 14, 2018.
She was born on July 5, 1946, daughter of the late Warren
and Adeline (Synotte) Hughes.
Nancy attended Cascade grade schools and graduated from
Plymouth High School in 1964.
She worked at Sargento for many years, retiring in 2013.
On June 16, 1979, she married James VanDeLoo. The couple resided in Plymouth following
their marriage. James preceded her in
death on April 29, 2012.
Nancy helped many years at the Cascade Picnic in the First
Responders stand, and was known by many as “The Supervisor.”
She enjoyed watching the Badgers, Packers, and NASCAR, and
always had her radio on listening to music.
She also loved socializing with people, camping, traveling. Most of all, she cherished spending time with
her family and friends, and loved her visits with her friend Mary and her
grandsons, Landon and Liam.
Survivors include: Two children: Kelly (Steve) Green of
Cascade and Cory VanDeLoo of Sheboygan; Grandchildren: Nathan Manderle of
Cascade, Kayla Green (Brandon) and Zach Green, both of Sheboygan Falls;
Great-grandchildren: Addison, Aria, and Ivan; Brothers: Pat (Paula) Hughes of
TN and Dan (Lynn) Hughes of Hartland, WI; Sister: Susie (Richard) Zinkel of IL;
Brother-in-law: Gilbert (Nancy) VanDeLoo and Sisters-in-law: Elaine Dunisch of
Sheboygan and Carol Moeller of CT.
She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other
relatives and friends.
Nancy was preceded in death by: Her husband, Parents,
Brothers: Warren Sr. “Jim” Hughes and Thomas Hughes, and Brothers-in-law: Karl
Dunisch and Henry Moeller.
Following Nancy’s wishes, cremation has taken place.
Memorial Services will be held on Friday evening (May 18,
2018) at 6:00 P.M. at the Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth. Father Wayne Bittner will officiate. Inurnment will be in the Plymouth Woodlawn
Cemetery.
Visiation will take place at the Suchon Funeral Home on
Friday (May 18) from 3:00 P.M. until the time of services.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in
Nancy’s name.
