Curtis Jiles Lawrence, 63, of Sheboygan Falls, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, April 16, 2018, at his home.
Curtis was born on October 18, 1954, in Sheboygan, WI to Charles and Donna (Kienberger) Lawrence. He attended Sheboygan Falls High School.
On May 28, 1977, Curtis married Deborah Schaller in Sheboygan. Curtis was employed at Bemis for 47 years until his retirement in 2017.
He enjoyed watching football and racing, driving his mustang, cooking, caring for his vehicles, home, his two dogs, and his wife, Debbie. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and going to Terry's with his friends on Fridays.
Curtis is survived by his wife, Deborah Lawrence; son, Robert (Summer) Lawrence of Sheboygan Falls, WI; daughter, Carrie (Derek) Scharenbroch; six grandchildren; Carter, Kaitlyn, Claire, Ava, Braylon, Madden; sister, Carol Jean Karls; brother, Terry (Sue) Lawrence; eight sister-in-laws, Carrie Lawrence, Julie Schmidt, Diane (David) Knaus, Beverly (Wayne) Henke, Sharon (Dale) Peterson, Sue Carpenter, Pat (Gordon) Rammer, Jackie (Keith) Oppeneer; six brother-in-laws, Jim (Deb), Mike (Tammy), Steve, Jeff (MaryJo), Tim, and David (Lorena) Schaller. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Curtis was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Donna Lawrence; three brothers, Chuck (Sue) Lawrence, Roger Lawrence, Bobby Lawrence.
A funeral service to celebrate Curtis's life will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2018, at 1pm at the Wenig Funeral Home of Sheboygan Falls. A private family burial will take place at Sheboygan Falls Cemetery. Relatives and friends may greet the family for a time of visitation at the funeral home on Saturday from 11 am until the time of service at 1pm.
A memorial fund is being established in his name.
