Carol M.
Schultz, 83, of Cedar Grove died on Friday, April 13, 2018 at Aurora Sheboygan
Medical Center.
Carol was
born on May 6, 1934 in Ozaukee County, the daughter of the late Clarence and
Viola (Voeks) Gerner. She graduated from West Bend High School in 1952 and then
received her BS Degree in Home Economics from Stout State University. She was a
Home Economics Teacher and Commons Supervisor from the Cedar Grove – Belgium
School District for over 32 years before her retirement in 2000. She married Lester Schultz on June 29, 1957
in Saukville.
Carol was a
member of the First Reformed Church in Cedar Grove. She was an outstanding
seamstress and enjoyed designing and constructing many HollandFest costumes,
banners and flags for the Village of Cedar Grove and her church. Carol also did
alterations for many people throughout her community. Additionally she enjoyed
cooking, baking, canning, playing cards and spending many cherished times at
their family cottage in Pembine.
She is
survived by her husband of 60 years, Lester of Cedar Grove; two daughters, Lorna (Steve) Winoske of
Houston, TX and Lois (partner Joe Dunn) Schultz of Neenah; one son, Bryan
(Terri) Schultz of Jericho, VT; three grandchildren, Kevin (Christine) Winoske,
Hannah (fiancé Torsten Quinlan) Schultz and Derrek Schultz; one great grandson,
Benjamin Winoske; one sister, Janet Badtke of Niles, MI; and three
brothers-in-law, Roger Geib of Port Washington, Donald Schultz of West Bend,
Earl (Helen) Schultz of Grass Valley, CA; nieces and nephews.
A funeral to
celebrate Carol’s life will take place at the First Reformed Church in Cedar
Grove on Thursday, April 19, 2018 at 2 pm with the Rev. Chris Schaefer
officiating. Burial will follow at the Cedar Grove Cemetery.
Family and
friends will gather at the Wenig Funeral Home in Oostburg on Wednesday from 5-7
PM, and on Thursday at church from 1 PM until the time of the service at 2 pm.

A memorial
fund is being established in her memory for the First Reformed Church in Cedar
Grove.
The staff of
