James G. Grunewald, 86, of Sheboygan Falls, passed away
Tuesday, April 03, 2018 at Pine Haven Residential Center. James was born April 16, 1931, in Town of
Herman to the late Norbert and Hertha (Roethel) Grunewald. He graduated from Howards Grove High
School. On September 30, 1967, he
married the former Carolyn J. Meifert in Bethlehem Lutheran Church in
Sheboygan. James was employed by the
Vollrath Company before retiring in 1995.
He was also a volunteer fire fighter in Howards Grove for several years
and enjoyed woodworking.
In addition to his wife, Carolyn, he is survived by a
sister-in-law, Hilda Meifert and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a
brother, Marvin (Minnie) Grunewald.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 6, 2018 at
1:00 p.m. at Zimmer’s Westview Funeral and Cremation Care Center (Hwy 42 &
JJ, Howards Grove) with Rev. Darrel Bergelin officiating. Friends may call on Friday, at the funeral
