Dale H. Huibregtse, 81 of Sheboygan Falls died on Easter Sunday
morning, April 1, 2018 at Aurora Sheboygan Medical Center.
Dale was born on September 5, 1936 in Sheboygan, the son of
John and Helen (Deurloo) Huibregtse. He graduated from Sheboygan Falls High School
in 1955. Dale served in the US Army
from 1955-57. Following his discharge from service he married the former Mary
Ann Nennig. On May 27, 1972 he married
Darlene (Dirks) Enders in Sheboygan. Dale was a foundry foreman at the Kohler
Co. for over 25 years before his retirement in 1996.
Dale was a longtime member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in
Sheboygan Falls where he served as a greeter. He played for the Sheboygan
Redwings, was a member of the Sheboygan Falls Jaycees Club and the Kohler
Quarter Century Club. Dale enjoyed the Green Bay Packers and watching other
Wisconsin sports, golf, bowling, and bird watching.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Darlene “Dolly”
Huibregtse of Sheboygan Falls; two daughters, Heidi (Ray) Porter of Arizona and
Holly (Hector) Soto of Eagle; one son, Dirk (Courtney) Huibregtse of Sheboygan
Falls; a step daughter, Terri (Matt) Cohen of Colorado; two stepsons, Craig
(Sandi) Enders and Todd Enders, both of Sheboygan Falls; seven grandchildren;
two sisters, Marge Wangemann of Milwaukee and Sally Vreeke of Sheboygan; one
brother, Gerald (Kay) Huibregtse of Sheboygan Falls; two sisters-in-law, Mary
Jane Huibregtse of Sheboygan and Elaine Kujawa of Milwaukee; nieces and
nephews.
Dale was preceded in death by his parents, an infant
daughter, Zoe Huibregtse; two brothers Clarence and Roland (Carolyn)
Huibregtse; and two brothers-in-law, Roger Vreeke and Ted Wangemann.
A memorial service to celebrate Dale’s life will take place
at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Sheboygan Falls on Friday, April 6, 2018 at
11 am with the Rev. Tom Gudmundson officiating. Inurnment will follow at
Sheboygan Falls Cemetery.
Family and friends will gather at the church on Friday from
9 am until the time of the service at 11 am.
