Ronald James Daharsh, 78, of
Sheboygan Falls, entered into eternal life on Tuesday, March 27, 2018, at
Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice.
Ron was born on January 3, 1940,
in Sheboygan County to Wilmer and Lucille (Billmann) Daharsh. He was a graduate
of Sheboygan Falls High School. Ron served his country in the United States
Army from 1963-1965. On April 27, 1963, Ron married Jeanne Altmeyer. Ron was employed at Thomas Industries as a
Die Caster for 44 years.
Ron was a member of Blessed
Trinity Parish in Sheboygan Falls, where he served as an usher and helped his
wife, Jeanne in the church rectory. Ron enjoyed hunting, fishing, going up
north to the cabin, bowling, playing baseball, playing cards, watching and
attending sporting events of his children and grandchildren, where he was their
“biggest fan”; Ron most of all loved simply spending time with his
family.
Ron was the foundation of a
family strong in faith and love for each other. Throughout his health
struggles, Ron courageously never complained about the pain he was feeling, and
always stayed positive with his level 3. He lived by the conviction of
“Only the strong have the courage to be gentle.”
Ron is survived by his wife,
Jeanne Daharsh of Sheboygan Falls; one daughter, Deborah (Mark) Hasler of
Sheboygan Falls; three sons, Thomas (Cathy) Daharsh of East Dundee, IL, Timothy
Daharsh of Sheboygan, Tony (Dorie) Daharsh of Neenah; nine grandchildren,
Stephanie (Max) Martin, Matthew (fiance Jessi), and Staci (special friend
Derek) Hasler; Aaron and Mitchell Daharsh; Ellie and Emma Daharsh;
Leyton and Madelyn Daharsh; sister-in-law, Susie (Harold) Comins of
Sheboygan.
Ron was preceded in death by his
parents; two sisters, Sharon and Sandra; parents-in-law, Albert and Gen
Altmeyer; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Patricia (Ralph) Mauer, and Jim
(Kay) Altmeyer
A memorial service to celebrate
Ron's life will be held on Tuesday, April 3, 2018, at Blessed Trinity Parish in
Sheboygan Falls with Rev. Joe Dominic officiating. An inurnment will take place
at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery.
Relatives and friends may greet
the family on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at Blessed Trinity Parish from 2:30pm
until the time of mass at 5:30pm.
In lieu of flowers a memorial
fund is being established in his name for The Disabled Veterans of Wisconsin
and the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice.
The family wishes to extend a
heartfelt thank you to Dr. Kumar, Nancy McLaughlin, especially Deb Grey, the
staff at Aurora Vince Lombardi Cancer Center and the staff and volunteers at
Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice for all their care and compassion that
they gave to Ron.
