Margaret
L. Brown, 82, of Plymouth, WI passed away on Saturday evening (March 17, 2018)
surrounded by her loving family at Sharon S. Richardson Hospice Center in
Sheboygan Falls.
She
was born on August 15
th
, 1935 in Sheboygan, Wisconsin a daughter of the
late Waldemar and Louise (Grashorn) Lorenz.
She
attended St. John Lutheran Grade School in Plymouth and graduated from Plymouth
High School in 1953. She attended the Central State College in Stevens Point.
On
December 17
th
, 1960 she married John H. Brown in
Waukegan,
Illinois.
The couple resided in Milwaukee for a short time after their marriage. They
moved to
Plymouth
in 1961.
She
was employed at the Milwaukee Allied Mills Company for 5 years and also worked
at the Plymouth High School, Mill Street Station Restaurant in Plymouth for five
years and at the Creamery Restaurant (now known as Plymouth Family Restaurant).
Her husband preceded her in death on June 16, 2012.
She
was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Plymouth. She enjoyed her flower beds
and plants, cats, bird watching, and doing crossword puzzles and reading. She
cherished meal time with her family and friends and enjoyed a Sunday drive
taking in all the sights in the area.
Survivors
include her three daughters: Lori (Steve)
Sokolowski of Plymouth, Amy (Steve) Kirchner of Plymouth, Tanya Brown (Chris
Whitman) of Fort Wayne, Indiana;
Three
grandsons: Douglas Kirchner of Dacada and Adam Kirchner of San Antonio, Texas,
Aaron Sokolowski of Sheboygan; One brother:
Arthur Lorenz of California; and One sister-in-law: Molly Lorenz of
California.
Also
survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends
She
was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
Funeral
Services will be held on Thursday evening (March 22, 2018) at 6:00 P.M. at St.
John Lutheran Church in Plymouth. Rev. Nathan Meador, Pastor of the Church will
officiate. Burial will be in the Plymouth
Woodlawn Cemetery.
Friends
may call at the CHURCH in Plymouth from 4:00 P.M. on Thursday (March 22) until
the time of Services.
In
lieu of flowers, a memorial Fund is being established in Margaret’s name.
